Description
The Escondido Junior Chamber of Commerce was chartered April 6, 1951. It started and has sponsored the Jaycees Christmas Parade since 1951, was instrumental in the creation and formation of Kit Carson Park and numerous other community projects such as city clean-up, acquisition of a bus for the Boys and Girls Club, EYE Counseling and Crisis Center, and Red, White and Blue Days Our Chapter Mission is to create the future for the Escondido Jaycees by establishing and building the membership through the development and promotion of leadership training, personal success, and community service programs
