As a pilot Ericsson BusinessPhone Centre dealership set up by Ericsson in 1991, we provided PABX solutions to enterprises in the Sydney market. Our success led to Ericsson establishing the BusinessPhone Network, operating in ten discrete territories in the Capital cities of Australia. This is now the strongest and most successful independently owned IT/Telecommunications dealer network in Australia and now numbers 57 dealers and agents nationwide.
Damovo entered the telecommunications market in Australia in 2001 when Apax Partners purchased 80 percent of Ericsson Enterprise. Ericsson Enterprise retained 20 percent ownership. In August 2004, Telstra acquired Damovo Australia and formed a new business division - Telstra Business Systems (TBS). This business brought together Telstra’s core strengths in telecommunications with Damovo’s capabilities in designing, installing, maintaining and managing customers’ CPE (equipment) requirements.

TBS is the largest PABX maintenance provider in Australia, maintaining 56% of the PABX market.
