Eric began competitive racing at the age of four entering fun runs and triathlons in Idaho. Later, after playing some soccer, he began mountain biking while racing for his high school ski (downhill and free style), track, and cross-country teams. While at Timberline High School, Eric helped develop the high schoolâs mountain bike team with the hope of introducing more of the students to the sport that had become his passion off campus.
