Epsom Palms Caravan World began trading in June 1986 as Lindsay Hurn Viscount Bendigo. Starting out with both Lindsay Hurn and Ray Peebles at the helm, selling new Viscounts.
In February 1987 Lindsay left the partnership and the name was changed to The Epsom Palms Caravan World Pty. Ltd. It was named after the large sites main claim to fame, 12 100ft palms in a straight line across the front of the property.
The company continued to grow, expanding to take on spare parts, accessories and repairs. The expansion also saw the introduction of other new vans, such as Jayco, Cub Campers, and Empire Caravans.
