Description
The Elliston Community Information Centre (ECIC) was officially opened by Senator for South Australia, Jeanine Ferris on April 6th 2002 and is an Accredited Visitor Information Centre by the South Australian Tourism Association standards.
The ECIC has been established in the Elliston Agricultural Hall. The exterior of the hall is a painted mural and is a recognised tourist icon. It is also believed to be largest mural in the southern hemisphere depicting the history of the Elliston District.
The Centre provides many different services which was previously unavailable to the Local Community and visitors to the region. These include:-
