The company commenced trading on 1st July 1970 as Ellis Steel Stockholders in Swansea. It grew in size gradually and opened Bristol Steel Stockholders in November 1977. The need for a specialist non-ferrous metal supplier saw the birth of Enterprise Metals which was followed by the acquisition of Milford Steel in West Wales. Logan & Allan was recently added to the group providing a source of imported steel for the group.
