Elite was started in 1991 by Jeff Massey and his wife Jane. Jeff had been in the mattress business since 1987 with another mattress company. Elite began as a Factory-Direct mattress company in Crestwood, MO. Retail customers were the only clientele at first. As it is today, the goal in the beginning was to make superior sleep products at below-market prices. We began with a tradition of showing the customer what goes into each mattress we make.
At Elite, no question is a dumb question. We like to answer each as best we can and hope every customer comes away with a better understanding. With this knowledge, we hope they'll be able to choose the mattress that's right for them at the best price possible.
At Elite we really do make each mattress with pride. Our intent is to offer the best quality for the price of any company on the market. We're not a large company and don't intend to be all things to all people. We sell sleep products for prices resulting in excellent values. At the end of the day, our superior prices, products and service will engender customer loyalty.
