Whilst one of New Zealand’s top dog trainers and handlers in the early 1990’s Paul originally identified a gap in the market to provide an effective alternative to the controversial drug testing of people by supplying a high quality drug detector dog service to New Zealand agencies, businesses, individuals and institutions on request.
By utilising dogs Paul knew that the rights of both an organisation and the individual would be respected at all times. His desire was to focus on eradicating drugs from the workplace, school and home environment, which would provide a safer and more constructive society for all.
Paul left the NZ Police Department in 1995 to dedicate and pursue his passion & dream of being the 1st and number ONE provider in this area. Years of research resulted in the formation of Elite Dog Services Limited, which has pioneered systems, protocols and programmes to manage the risk drugs pose to Organizations throughout New Zealand.
