Title

mainstream medical documentation of chemical sensitivity

Description

Excerpted from the website description:

Chemical Sensitivity has already been identified and defined by mainstream medical science in a number of case-specific forms. Such forms include Reactive Airways Dysfunction Syndrome, Irritant Rhinitis, and Airborne Irritant Contact Dermatitis. Numerous chemicals have been identified as Sensitizers, while other ones have been identified as Irritants. And equally identified is the phenomenon of Concomitant Sensitivity, by which hypersensitivity to one chemical constitutes hypersensitivity to every other chemical of similar characteristics. Furthermore, to be hypersensitive to merely one High Production Volume Chemical is to be hypersensitive to the dozens of commonly encountered products which contain that one chemical. In as much, the Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Controversy, as was perpetuated by corporate attorneys and political operatives, did little more than serve as a diversion tactic which averted attention away from the fact that chemicals, at nontoxic levels, are not universally harmless.
