This Ecuador web site is operated by Geoffrey Gonzalez. The site started out as a personal hobby. Prior to June, 2002 I had a portal named "Ecuador Pages".
I have visited my family in Ecuador over a dozen times. Over 95% of my family resides in Ecuador, now you can see what fueled my interest in the development of this site. Initially, Ecuador.us intent was to become a U.S. based Ecuadorian online directory. As popularity increased, we added content relevant to Ecuador.
The build out transitioned the web site from an Ecuadorian directory, into a feel and look of an Ecuador travel guide. Quite frankly, most of our visitors and callers visit us for Ecuador travel and vacation related reasons. We average 40,000 online visitors per month. This site is not affiliated with any government entity.
