Drumset and Percussion Studies Include:

-Execute rhythmic phenomena with confidence and precision - that's the goal. -Learn to feel and embrace the multitude of subdivisions which exist inside tempos, and demystify seemingly complex musical expressions by discovering how much space really exists between notes. -Exercises are assigned to develop ones' inner clock by playing and counting groups of any given subdivision. -Training the mind to calculate which division will accurately house a musical phrase's rhythm, can help a musician perform with accuracy, interpret all music, transcribe and transpose, master notation, and improvise with confidence while taking risks!

-Breathing, Posture, Stick handling, Independence of limbs, Coordination, and Strength/Endurance!

-The mind is the most powerful tool, yet a musicians great idea may never materialize without the rigorous training of his or her neuromuscular system. -During performance and recording time, students are encouraged to take off the thinking cap and express themselves freely on their instruments, relying confidently on skills backed by hours of real work (practice). -By challenging the nervous system with unfamiliar combinations of patterns for the hands and feet while counting main beats (quarter notes for example), musicians can efficiently learn to sync up and perform with joy. -Time spent with a metronome is mandatory.
