Eaglez swim team is a competitive program dedicated to use superior training techniques and latest swim theories to help our swimmers achieve their maximum potential.
Eaglez swim team consists of coaches, swimmers and parents working together in a supportive environment to develop each swimmer’s growth as an athlete and a person. Self-discipline, self-confidence, camaraderie, good sportsmanship and a healthy lifestyle are all qualities which the Eaglez swim team emphasizes, and which will benefit swimmers in all aspects of their lives. Swimmers of all levels, from novice to national, shall be treated in a fair and consistent manner. While we encourage swimmers to attend as many practices as possible to maximize their skills, we recognize that family commitments and other activities are also essential to students’ personal growth. The Eaglez will be a resource, which will help swimmers achieve excellence in several areas of life.
Some may wonder why we chose “ Eaglez” as our team name even though the eagle is not usually associated with water. The latest hydraulic theories have explained the propulsive mechanisms used in swimming and recognized the water medium as the air medium in term of the application of propulsive forces. The basic concepts and terms used in aerodynamics are current in use by the fluid dynamics. The eagle is also symbol of strength, speed, confidence and freedom.
