Description
Ealing Hospital is a busy district general hospital providing acute services for patients in the West London area. Situated in the London Borough of Ealing, the hospital was opened in 1979, with the maternity wing being added in 1988. Trust status was granted in 1992.
Our main commissioner of services is the Ealing Primary Care Trust (www.ealingpct.nhs.uk), accounting for around 95% of our patients. Both Ealing Hospital and the Ealing Primary Care Trust are within the North West London Strategic Health Authority.
Trust Chief Executive Fiona Wise has praised staff for their hard work as Ealing Hospital NHS Trust gained a second star from the Healthcare Commission in the national performance ratings for 2004/05. Click here for further details.
