eWheels.ca is a new generation of automotive web sites. We are small but competitive and agile, skilled and innovative and we are on the quest of revolutionizing one of most conservative industries - automotive retail and wholesale sales.
The original idea of eWheels web site, its business logic and the team behind it was concieved by Terra Binary Inc - privately held Canadian company. We began developing our eWheels.ca in November 2001, the time when North American economic slowdown has forced hundreds of technology start-ups out of business and completely cut off the supply of venture capital. That didn't bother us though. We invented completely new application development and testing techniques that minimized development cost dramatically and allowed our parent company to fund eWheels project internally.
We have spent a great deal of time ensuring that our services meet the actual needs of automotive dealers and customers. We closely worked with automotive dealers of all sizes - with the ones selling just ten cars a month to the ones selling a few hundreds. We have also made our services easy to use. In order to achieve that, we even developed two versions of our user interface independently, in parallel, and then picked up the best parts from each one.
