The Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Newark is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). We believe the Bible to be God's written, infallible Word, and accept the Westminster Confession of Faith as containing the system of doctrine taught in the Holy Scriptures.
The purpose of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Newark is to glorify God. In submission to the Bible's authority, we are committed to worship God joyfully, to equip our congregation to serve God and each other personally, and to demonstrate and proclaim Christ's love and message to our community and world faithfully.
The Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Newark (EP) is part of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Its roots extend to the Great Reformation and leaders like John Calvin and Martin Luther. EP is a member of the Heritage Presbytery, which includes PCA churches in Delaware, Southeastern Pennsylvania, and Eastern Maryland.
