Lucinda Claire Macy is the " Lucinda " of Lucinda & Co. Her three, children are the "company".---They have all worked in the shop and mastered their own woodworking skills with functional and whimsical houses over the years. Grandma and Grandpa have helped out at times as have neighbors, also, when need beckoned. This little company is a true "cottage industry" and has been in business about 12 years.
Lucinda was born and raised in the rural coastal mountains of California . Love of nature and expression of artistic inspirations were the guiding factors in growing up. Making things was always encouraged and pursued .The designing and creating of the award winning little houses in this web site is a result of combining all of these elements --love of art, woodworking, nature and originality.. They have won the hearts of people young and old and wild life near and far. Lucinda also does graphic design and pet portraits, most often on wood---as well as making rustic furniture, painting and many other artistic pursuits.
