Description
Since 1999, the Durham Farmers' Market has been a wonderful asset to the downtown Durham area. Without a home of its own, the market has had to borrow space from other organizations and has often been displaced and shuffled about by other events. Naturally, one of our main goals for the market is to find a permanent home. In recent years, the Durham Farmers' Market has joined efforts with the Durham Central Park Organization to develop a vision for a permanent structure for the farmers' market to be included within the 5 acres of the Durham Central Park that is currently under development.
