Under 21's Car rental
Young people love South Africa! Students, interns and tourists visit this beautiful land each year. Many require independent transport, but find it tough to hire cars due to their age. Drive Africa caters for all the car rental needs of under-21s (yes that includes individuals under-20 and under-19) visiting South Africa as bonfide international travelers.
You have read and heard that drivers 18 years old or under 21 have difficulties with the insurance for rental cars, our rental package includes a full comprehensive insurance which covers the entire insurance and there is no excess to be paid. The only restrictions in place for young drivers is that they refrain from drinking alcohol whilst using the car and that they drive carefully and when planning a trip to neighboring countries that they leave enough time to get to their planned destination and back.
This means if you are a foreigner and have turned 18 and you have a valid driver's license, Drive Africa can supply you with a suitable car! Therefore, there is no need to stress anymore! Even though your 18, 19 or 20 we believe in your driving ability and will fulfill all your car hire needs.

Our Workshop
Drive Africa has recently announced that their car repair workshop will now be open to the public. The mechanical workshop has been running for ten years, since 1998, but was merely used for the repair and overhaul of their own fleet of car rental and buyback vehicles.
After in-depth market research and analysis, management soon realised that Cape Town was in dire need of an affordable car service and repair workshop. Filling the void in the car repair industry, not only for general car repairs, but also for the repair of 4x4's and Campervans.
