The INGENIEURBÜRO Dr. Hillger was founded in 1984. The company develops and builds special ultrasonic (imaging) systems for high-tech materials like composites, ceramics and materials with high sound damping as concrete components. These materials require special adaptations of ultrasonic testing in order to get results with a high degree of evidence.
Since 1995 the HILL-SCAN 30XX pulser/receiver-Pc boards with the length of a 16 bit slot give new standards because of their extremely high resolution and dynamic range. The VMOS-pulser has a rise time lower than 6 ns. The low-noise receiver with an amplification of up to 90 dB indicates smallest signals. The pulser/receiver section is totally shielded and therefore, no interference is received from the PC.
