Hi, I'm Shawn. I'm an Internet entrepreneur. OK. Scratch that. I just had to Google "entrepreneur" to see if I spelled it right. Better stated, I'm a wanna-be-Internet-entrepreneur. I've never worked at a company that went public, never cashed in IPO riches, never graced the cover of WIRED and have never been featured as a guest blogger on fastcompany.com.
Whoops. Sorry. OK, back to me: I love to invent. And simply put, I can't think of any other medium that allows me the flexibility to do this than the Internet.
If it hadn't been for the Internet, I'd probably still be trying to make it in the film production world - working my way up the ladder as a P.A. with wide eyed aspirations of someday making movies. TV, movies, radio - the entire spectrum of mass media was my passion in college. Yet, it never gave me the convenient and immediate access to turn my ideas into reality. Then, just as I was graduating I learned about the Internet.
