The Stepping Stones Of Our Families In the website you will see that each individual has there own page. So you can clearly see the stepping stones of their life. It will start on the day they are born, till the day they pass away. Genealogy to me is just not finding out how far you can go back in time, but also the stepping stones in between. Where was that family member born, their parents, who did they marry, where did they go to school, how many children, what occupation(s) did they hold in there life, where did they die, etc. All these questions are very interesting to me. What made that family member so happy or unhappy in life? I am hoping that everyone in my family tree gets involved in this. Doing alot of researching on the internet, and I mean alot, I have found pictures here and there. I want a place to store all those pictures in the order of their life. If everyone sends in more pictures we can also place those pictures in the persons stepping stones. The more information and pictures we can gather together the more information we will have for the next generations to come. If you can send me any information that you see is missing on a certain person, I would be so grateful. Pictures, we need pictures! Pictures of everything and anything! Pictures usually tell alot more then words do. You will see where I need the pictures in the family members page. I will be donating all the money that is made from this website to more researching of our ancestors. Mostly it will be going to the NDSU Germans from Russia. They have done such a beautiful job and I think that we need to help support this. If you are looking at a picture that I have gotten from the internet, I will let you know the URL address so that you can go directly to that page and get the picture. I also will inform you on the person's page if there is a interview or story about this person and what the URL address is. This way you can go and read the stories and interviews. This site is not made to make money, it is made to give everyone the chance to chip in and get the Dorscher Burgad story told. I want to take the time to thank ALL of you that have helped so far. I want to give a special thanks to my family for putting up with me during this adventure.
