- That's me. Not much to look at really. My name is Donald Shane Crankshaw. I'm an Evangelical Christian by faith, a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering by education, a Research Scientist by trade, and a skeptical cynic by nature. I write fiction for fun and blog for enjoyment. I enjoy debating philosophical and theological questions, although I'm out of my depth when it comes to the formal methods of those schools, so I usually fall back on the logical reasoning in which I've been educated. I get by. I have a professional interest in technology, especially quantum computation, which was the topic of my doctoral dissertation. I have an interest in politics because it affects me.
