Description
Patti Lozano has degrees in both Spanish and Music Education. She has taught elementary music and Spanish, junior high music and Spanish and ESL in Houston, Texas since the late '70s, and was honored as Houston's "Outstanding Young Educator" in 1982.
Mrs. Lozano has always loved to compose songs that reinforce language concepts in the fun way for her Spanish students. She discovered early on that students retain and are able to recall effortlessly any vocabulary and structures from songs stored in their brains.
Besides teaching, Mrs. Lozano also has been a regional and national language consultant, as well as an author for several well-known publishers of educational materials.
