- Doggyville is an appropriate name to describe our home and thus when we decided to begin a new business adventure, it seemed natural that our efforts would be an extension of our passion for absolutely, truly, totally, and completely loving our dogs. Doggyville was the chosen name for our website and our kids with four paws and a short tail would be our official taste testers and product testers and demonstrators! If they did not like the product, or if it didn't hold up to their playing and use, it would not be offered on our site. Even our Manx Cat Callie said she would stop torturing our dogs if we had cat toys and treats to test. From the beginning of identifying excellent and innovative products for dogs and their owners, we wanted to make a difference and cultivate animal welfare and do the right thing. To that end, it is also important to us that our products are sourced from companies that also have that goal and support animal charities as well. Dog lovers and Cat lovers would have a place to shop and get good quality products for their pets and support animal charities at the same time.
