First and foremost "doityourselfweather" was designed as a quick, informative forecasting tool for all who are employed outdoors and really depend on the weather. Hence the Motto: "When The Forecast Really Matter$"
I (the Webmaster) believe, that after three decades of earning my living subject to the outdoor elements, that no one can accurately predict the weather for more then a 48 hour period. I wanted something void of the hype and tease (presented by the Main Stream Media outlets); something that would quickly display all the information I needed in order to make a judgment call for my "tomorrow and the following day", for that 48 hour "window". After some practice and observation it's easy to make a sound forecast. Read the information on the "instructional page" (page 2 of the site) and use it as a reference; the maps on the main page are self explanatory ... visit daily. In short, it's saved me money and it's help make me money. Good luck & Enjoy!
