Alison Dictor received her Bachelors degree in Accounting from the New York Institute of Technology in 1987. Since then she has worked both in public and private accounting. After marrying a software developer, in 1989 they relocated to South Florida where she began to focus on various computer accounting applications. With the enormous popularity of the QuickBooks accounting software, she has been able to focus almost exclusively on QuickBooks since 2000.
