- is a one-man shop located in rural Wayne Township, Butler County, in SW Ohio. My name is David Frederick, hence the df. I have over 50 years of experience in graphic design. Beginning with freelance assignments as a high school student through my education at the Central Academy of Commercial Art in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have worked as a traditional board artist in the printing industry, then spent two years as an illustrator in the U.S. Army assigned to the Pentagon in Washington D.C. After leaving the service I spent 11 years with NCR Dayton in International Advertising followed by the last 28 years at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, as Graphic Design Supervisor of Media Creation.
