- The Dean Democratic Club of Silicon Valley is an alliance in Silicon Valley, California dedicated to the issues brought forth by Gov. Howard Dean, M.D, his cause and his message of progressive, positive change. At our early stage, we were known as Silicon Valley for Dean. We come from diverse backgrounds: we are black and white and brown, we are moderates and liberals, we are affluent and poor, we are men and women, we are straight and gay, senior citizens to young people - we are Americans united in common purpose. We believe in Gov. Dean's vision of restoring America's moral leadership in the world, winning the war against terrorism, providing health insurance for everyone in this country, returning to fiscal sanity by balancing the federal budget, putting people back to work, investing in small children and small businesses, making higher education affordable, and restoring our constitutional and civil liberties and justice for all.
