DevSpark is a new step in the evolution of 3 Techies in a Box. The following is a brief history of 3 Techies in a Box:
Three Techies in a Box was born while two Techies were driving into the sunrise after work at three in the morning. At the time, the two young technology workers were working at a large oil company with hundreds of servers in northern Alberta, Canada. Their combined skills and experiences, they realised, covered all of the technology requirements of the company. Despite their broad spectrum of skills, the two Techies found themselves working in topless and doorless fabric boxes.
The realisation that Techies could contribute more to the world than UNIX and Windows code and web pages built in fabric boxes was the seed of Three Techies in a Box.There are millions of fulfilling opportunities for Techies to escape the horrors of large corporate Cubevilles and make meaningful contributions to the growth and modernisation of small businesses in Canada. From custom applications, web design and publishing, installation, hardware and software upgrades to networking, security and multimedia presentations, Three Techies in a Box can cover most every business technology need for small businesses.
