- Scott Sydness & Courtney Cockayne started the group in September, 2006. Dave Iddings got involved with “Desperation Papers” in September, 2007. Dave plays lead harmonica and sings backing vocals. Dave is vital in creating the music and adds a unique body and flare. Ray Griswold plays lead guitar. Ray joined the group in March 2008. Chelsea Stanton is the lead singer for the group. Chelsea joined the group in May 2008. Rodney Sleeth in the bass player. Rodney also joined the group in May 2008. Scott Sydness plays rhythm/lead guitar. He also writes, composes, engineers and produces the music. Scott also does web design and video production. “Desperation Papers” believes God is using their talents to minister to others. They are dedicated to seeing lives transformed. They demonstrate transformation through their music and through their testimonies of sinners saved by grace.
