This single ingredient product contains Hoodia, popular appetite suppressant from the Kalahari region in Africa. REVIEW OF Desert Burn

The product contains the cactus-like succulent Hoodia for appetite suppression, but does not contain the effective energy enhancer Advantra-Z® or any other additional nutrients.

Hoodia – is a plant that contains a compound called “P57,” which is a molecule that causes a full feeling. In clinical trials, two test groups were given equal diets and placed in a setting where they were to remain sedentary. One group was given Hoodia and the other, a placebo. The Hoodia group consumed on average 1000 calories a day less than the placebo group. Hoodia is a breakthrough in appetite suppressants, and was mentioned on the program 60 Minutes.
Hoodia contains fiber, antioxidants, and biologically active substances called sterol glycosides which fools the brain into thinking it is full. The components also provide a sense of alertness, and help keep the focus on weight loss. We see no evidence of other added ingredients based on the website.

Hoodia is definitely effective in curbing hunger pangs, but the product, without an element of fat burning, will not provide the most successful results for weight loss.
