Description
Based in the Dorset village of Broadmayne, near Dorchester, the company was incorporated in 1991 by Dr David Smart and specialises in software development and the new media using a network of software engineers in South West Dorset.
David graduated from Glasgow University with a BSc in General Science and was awarded a Ph D from Paisley College of Technology in 1985 for his studies of the physics and chemistry of materials. He subsequently worked in materials science research before moving into the field of real time and networked software. His wife Norma is a dentist in General Dental Practice.
There are increasing amounts of reference and trade material being posted on the internet. Many paper based magazines are now permitting online viewing of articles, many manufacturer's sites contain new and existing product information. Increasing amounts of educational material are now available on the internet. In essence, we are now at the stage where the internet is emerging as the primary means of information exchange for professional and business users.
