- John B. Denson learned the trade of glass cutting, repairing and engraving at J. Hoare and Company at the age of fourteen. He also worked for Hunt Glass and O.F. Egginton Company. From 1922 - 1935 he worked for Steuben Glass in Corning, NY. At that same time he opened his own cutting shop in his home until he died in 1957.
