Delaware National Bank has been the local banking connection for the people of Delaware since our beginnings under the name of First National Bank of Georgetown in 1979. We provide banking, investment and trust services to individuals and businesses throughout Delaware.
Our history proves our success; First National Bank of Georgetown (opened in Sussex County) was the first new bank to open in the state in over 60 years. Within 18 months, the bank had expanded its branch network into the towns of Laurel, Seaford and Ocean View. As a result, in 1984, we changed our name to Delaware National Bank.
