DEHTEQ (Pty) Ltd, was established in 1990 as Vine-Vet cc for the distribution and marketing of poultry vaccines. 1995 saw Vine-Vet firmly established as a leading animal health company in the marketing, distribution and technical support of biological diagnostic tests to the agricultural livestock industry.
In 2001 the company changed its name to DEHTEQ (Pty) Ltd as it expanded into public health with an innovative and unique range of water and food safety tests.
Entry into the public health market brought with it an acute awareness of the growing consumer opposition to antibiotic residues in food products of animal origin. DEHTEQ responded by adding a range of Ayurvedic Herbal Health Care products to its animal health division. These are scientifically formulated for poultry and other livestock from the heart of all ancient herbal knowledge in India.
