In 1984 Wim and Eddy de Boer established De Boer Building Services. They were employed mainly as labour-only carpenters, but after a few years Wim and Eddy had to employ other builders to fulfil the heavy workload.
In 1989 Wim and Eddy changed their services to Main Contractors for building projects, while still maintaining a "hands-on approach". The bulk of their work includes interior fit-outs and construction, housing and apartments, with an annual turnover exceeding $3,500,000.00. They have a pool of reliable and experienced contractors they hire to fulfil these projects.
Due to expansion of their business, in 1998 they purchased an office and warehouse in Petone, Lower Hutt. The warehouse has given them the ability to access materials 24 hours a day, which is essential for jobs operating out of hours.
