possibilities. Over the years, her work has evolved from a very tight realism to a more fluid, painterly expression. The title artist/illustrator suits her. The old master's Rembrandt, Monet and others and the illustrators JC Leyendecker, Willy Pogamy and particularly a dear friend and teacher Lili Gaydos have been her inspiration.

Her drawings are realistic and fluid with a wide depth of tones. Working in the traditional mediums of watercolor, pastel, pencil and oil, deb's work reflects a touch of the old masters combined with her own vision . Her art is a constant exploration into exciting combinations of medium, color and glazes.

During the 25 years of her illustration career, she has enjoyed the challenge of a wide range of projects. The Andi O'Malley series of children's books, editorial pieces for the New York Times and NY Daily News, a special cover for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Bruce Springsteen pub glasses, commemorative stamps of Princess Diana, a portrait of "Daddy Warbucks" for Broadway and most recently a book titled "A Dog's Guide to Life: Lessons from Moose" are just few a of the places where her work has appeared.
