Dave Cross is Senior Developer, Education and Curriculum for the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. Previous to joining the NAPP, Dave spent many years as a trainer and writer, training thousands of users across North America. A Photoshop user since version 1, he progressed from scanning images on a 3-pass 300 dpi scanner to working with high end digital cameras and now spends every waking hour teaching Photoshop. Dave is the co-author of Illustrator CS2 Killer Tips, one of the authors of The Photoshop World Dream Team Book, and author of Photoshop CS2 Help Desk Book. He is featured on various instructional DVDs available from photoshopvideos.com. Dave is a contributing writer to Photoshop User magazine, teaches at Photoshop World, the Mac Design Conference and is Lead Instructor for the Photoshop Seminar Tour. Dave is an Adobe Certified Expert in Illustrator CS2 and Photoshop CS2 and an Adobe Certified Instructor. In his spare time he is Graphics Editor for Layers Magazine, Editor-in-Chief of Photoshop Elements Techniques, The Photoshop Elements newsletter and sings in a Barbershop chorus and quartet.
