- Initial experiences in Civil Construction were transformed to main line Civil Infrastructure Sector with the incorporation of Daya Constructions (Pvt) Ltd. in 1984 and its achieving M1 Status with ICTAD. The Organization at that time had the Distinction of being the first ever-local contractor to be awarded Main Contractor status for Donor Funded Projects by both the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. In the 20-year span, Daya Constructions (Pvt) Ltd. today is one of the 05 leading Companies in Civil Infrastructure in Sri Lanka, specializing in Highways, Bridges, and High-rise Building Construction.
