Dawson College is located in the heart of downtown Montreal in a historic building on 12 acres of green space. The College's student population numbers approximately 10,000, with day and evening students enrolled in more than 50 fields of study.
A diversity of languages and cultures is represented at Dawson among the students, faculty and staff, reflecting the multiethnic character of Montreal itself. This diversity greatly enriches the lives of all our students and their college experience.
Dawson College was the first English-language institution in the Quebec network of CEGEPs when it opened its doors to 1,200 students in the fall of 1969.
