The time to gather is NOW! The time to plan is NOW! The time to work is NOW! Iowa is one of only two states that have never elected a woman to Congress or elected a woman to the Governor's Office. The other state is Mississippi. Do we ask why and do we plan to change the fact? The answers are yes and yes! On March 28, 2009, women from every county in Iowa will gather at the Iowa Historical Building in the shadow of the State Capitol to discuss how to begin changing Iowa politics.
