- Ms. Murphy has been featured in concerts throughout Austria, Italy, and the United States including solo recitals at two of New York City’s landmarks, St. Thomas Church Fifth Avenue and Grace Church. She has won or placed in many competitions including The Maria Caniglia International Competition for Sopranos, National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Competition, NATS Artist Award, Corradetti International Voice Competition and the Delaware State Music Teachers Association Award. She has been a finalist in the National Opera Association Vocal Competition, Music Teacher’s National Association Competition, James Parkinson Voice Competition, Jenny Lind National Competition for Sopranos and recognized as a semi-finalist in the New York Oratorio Society Competition, Regional Metropolitan Opera Young Artists Competition, Baltimore Opera Competition, and Queens Opera Vocal Competition.
