Dave's gym first opened its doors over 30 years ago in Winnington. The gym boasted 1 main room stuffed full of equipment. Over the first few years the gym quickly gained members and the gym steadily began to invest in more equipment. In 1980 the gym bought its first sunbed quickly followed by its first ladies only night in 1982, which is still just as popular today.
1988 saw the gym open its first step class and the old gym reached its capacity, prompting a move to a bigger location in 1993.
