Description
Dave Winters is president of Dachboden Software Inc and WizWire Communication Services, a software and telecommunications company located in northern California. Dave Winters is a reserve pilot officer in the United States Air Force serving as a command pilot with a California reserve unit. He has served as a Special Operations officer in Germany, a test support pilot, USAF Test Pilot School instructor pilot, B52 pilot in North Dakota, T38 flight instructor, and commander of the 940th Communication Flight. He has flown numerous aircraft and eight of his former test pilot students are current NASA Shuttle astronauts.
Raised in Birmingham, Alabama, he supported his single mom and worked his way through school by providing programming support to campus administrative agencies. He attended University of Alabama, Georgia Institute of Technology, and gained his Computer Science degree from Troy State University.
