Danny Cipriani was born on the 11th of February, 1987 in Roehampton (London) in the United Kingdom. Cipriani's father is from Trinidad & Tobago and as such Cipriani maintains strong ties with the Carribean.
Prior to beginning his career as a professional rugby player Cipriani played football with Queens Park Rangers and was even offered a position to continue playing with Reading Football Club. He also showed promise as a crickter and was offered to join Surrey County Cricket Club as a batsman.
Danny started playing rugby at 9 years old and joined the [www.wasps.co.uk/ Wasps] Academy at age 17 before making his first start a year later in 2004.
Cipriani made his first appearance for England in 2008 and has earned seven caps since.
Finally, Cipriani is an embassador for the Charity "Tour Aid", a charity that "establishes sustainable relationships between schools and clubs in the UK with similar organisations around the world to support disadvantaged children." The charity has other notable ambassadors such as fellow rugby players Mike Phillips, Chester Williams and Sue Day, as well as television and radio personality John Inverdale.[1]
