Hello. This message if for Mr. Pete Williams of the Dalmatian group. Hello, my name is Daniel Nash. I have had Dalmatians for the last 14 years. I lost my mother dog, Roxanne Antionette to cancer December 1st of 2005. I still am blessed with Bouncing Bailey Belle, her daughter dog. Bailey is 12 years old. My problem is that Bailey for the 1st time has incurred a hematoma on her right ear. That problem began 7 days ago. She needs to have surgery. My current problem with Bailey is that she has had diarrhea streaked with blood for the past several days. I give her immodium and it begins to clear up the problem, but when I discontinue the immodium her bloody dairrhea returns. Bailey had parvovirus when she was less than a year old. When Roxanne had her puppies I did not know that there were 2 shots involved. Anyway, Bailey was lucky and survived. Since then I have always kept my dogs, now 1 Dalmatian fully inoculated. Do you have a clue as to what could be wrong with Bailey? Her veterinary appointment is scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, July 28th.. I know her ear hematoma is not life threatening, but her bloody diarrhea has really got me worried.
