Here on DailyPast.com, we bring history to life. The first internet news site which takes a look back. Packed with all the features of your favourite news site. With one big difference. We turn history into current affairs.

I am an English teacher on the Italian island of Sardinia and got the initial inspiration from a local radio station who were presenting, as this site does, famous events from history as if they were happening in real time. The idea stuck in my head and four years later, this site is the result.

DailyPast.com has been written as a serious site but, in trying to capture some of the immediacy and "chaos" of current affairs, a certain degree of invention has been added to the material here.
