During a decade as a photo-journalist, I photographed royalty, presidents and prime ministers, plane and train crashes. I rode in military jeeps and helicopters, in the back of stunt planes and stock cars, and had a sideline pass at everything from horse and car races, to professional hockey, tennis, baseball, golf and football.
