REVIEW OF CYTODYNE
Cytodyne LLC is a manufacturer of a rather large assortment of weight loss products. This company was founded in 1997 and is proud that all of their products are Ephedra free. Cytodyne is said to design only innovative supplements which are “the highest in purity, potency and effectiveness.” Most manufacturers make similar claims, especially when they are marketing more then one diet product at a time. Usually, we find it is beneficial to trust a company which only sells one product. This shows the company put time and effort into the development process and also demonstrates the manufacturer’s confidence that the supplement will work as advertised and are not merely trying to make a profit off of consumers’ desire to achieve weight loss and fitness goals through the need to purchase multiple products.

REVIEW OF Cytodyne
We believe that weight loss issues can be successfully addressed by dietary supplements. Unfortunately, the market is flooded with impotent products or supplements which offer health risks to potential consumers. This is why we will thoroughly study this company and their products to determine if Cytodyne can be trusted to manufacturer safe and effective weight management supplements. Currently, Cytodyne offers the following supplements for sale: Xenadrine EFX Extra Strength, Xenadrine 40+, Xenadrine NRG, Maximum Strength Taraxtone, Myo-Blast CSP3, Z-Mass PM, Methoxy Pro, Cytodyne, Cyclo Z-Mass, Cytopro and Xenadrine Hardcore. In general, Cytodyne utilizes similar formulas for most of their products. Some of them contain an assortment of vitamins and minerals. Most of which are popularly found in other weight loss products. There are some products that contain caffeine, which nutritionists do not usually recommend for daily ingestion. Caffeine based supplements have been shown to have adverse side effects, such as causing jitteriness and headaches as well as disrupting sleep patterns. However, as advertised it appears none of these products contain Ephedrine, which is a supplement shown to strongly stimulate the central nervous system. A year long government ban was just lifted on this ingredient in May of 2006 due to the proposed health risks this supplement offers, which at times have been fatal. We were pleased to see that Cytodyne does not use this supplement in any of their products as promised.
