Originally from Barberton, Ohio, I now make my home in Prescott, Arizona where I work full time as a jewelry designer, moonlight at a great little bead shop and live with my husband, Chris.
My intention is to design one-of-a-kind pieces that are light-hearted, whimsical or have an ethereal feeling while giving great attention to detail, color and texture. My collections include unusual assortment of precious and semi-precious gemstone beads, coral, spiny oyster shell, pearls, along with metal components from all over the world! It is my hope that the artistry is resonant enough to exist as a highly personalized piece of jewelry for the wearer.
To find inspiration, I look to the natural places I love and their intricate design and color: arduous canyon stone, rainbow-colored birds, the cyan-colored Sea of Cortez, and many hot springs of the Southwest. Thus the business trade name, CYAN RIFT™, which to me represents beautiful jewelry that rises from the earth and sea floor!
